Utility based on google speech recognition services to allow you take audio notes, time- and location- stamp them, speech-to-text-them, and then apply useful utilities to the results. This includes selecting and editing voice-to-text into other programs, as well as initiating voice based searches.
VoiceToGoog helps people organize their voice thoughts using text annotation automatically provided by voice-to-text technology. All notes are time and location stamped to provide easy context-sensitivity -- allowing visual browsing of one's notes, activities (external program launch) by both time and location. The browsing experience is augmented by map-view mashups of indicating where given speech/note/activity took place.
As a utility application, VoiceToGoog is a primary enabler of mobile literacy because it allows the user the ability to use voice instead of typing and can even read back the transcribed text. Of course you can do all the expected things like using voice for google-search, YouTube-search, map-search, or e-mail on the transcribed contents, or using the spoken phone number, or contact name, to call or email that contact. In the future translation and other capabilities will be added, as well as better support for switching or setting the primarly recognition language of the application.
Compatible phones (unless stated otherwise in the program description above)

@Anonymous_from_SWITZERLAND -- I really wanted to be able to send the selected audio clips as attachments along with their voice-to-text as mail-body, for both SMS and E-mail. However, the goal of 0.1.0 was to "release early" and hopefully the refinements will come through the "release often" part of my development process. In the first release, 0.1.0, I just used simple API's documented in http://harmattan-dev.nokia.com/docs/library/html/guide/html/Developer_Library_Developing_for_Harmattan_Launching_another_application_from_your_application.html ... for the future I'll use http://doc.qt.nokia.com/qtmobility-1.2/serviceactions.html and http://doc.qt.nokia.com/qtmobility-1.2/serviceactions.html to setup more elaborate mail drafts, with HTML body representing the voice-to-text of each selected voice note, along w/ attachment. From there you run the platform SMS/email application, fill out the address, and send.
If you think this is a good way of implementing this feature, please comment/vote on the feature request I've entered for this issue: http://code.google.com/p/voicetogoog/issues/detail?id=1 [Rate: 10/10]

Cool! It would be nice if what we record can be directly sent by sms! [Rate: 8/10]
